Alex’s Sweater

Commercial activity was paused for the entirety of 2024 to develop work without the constraint of price or time. All knitwear that year was made as gifts, taking as long as each piece needed to reach completion. This was the second sweater made as a gift, for Alex, whose taste runs to elevated, heritage menswear. It reconstructs a 1950s cricket sweater found in a family photograph, adapted toward the recipient's everyday style. It is a v-neck in colourgrown organic cotton, knit on a retro hand-operated knitting machine.
