Towelwear

A small collection for Summer 2022, and the first items created with a digital knitting machine, made in linen, hemp and cotton blends. It includes towels, for hair and for beach, and garments that take its form: skirts and dresses wrapped around the body in nautical stripes with ropes. Linen fisherman hats were made alongside, after a summer of noticing people in beanies for sun protection on windy days. This collection was paired with a crochet bikini and icord bag under the name Beachy City; beachwear for a summer spent downtown, far from a body of water, travel still uneasy as the lockdowns lifted.
